The Hampshire-based business has also completed talks to secure Automaster as one of three Vauxhall-endorsed DMSs for its UK retailer network.
KBA says it has received orders from a number of Vauxhall dealers.
“It is no longer financially viable for manufacturers to support many DMS suppliers across Europe. “KBA recognised this change and made plans to find the best solution for its customers and business,” says director Graham Goodchild.
The company has a target of installing the system in “a significant number” of the UK’s 6000 franchised dealerships within the next two years.
Goodchild believes the Vauxhall endorsement is a great boost to Automaster.
South Wales dealer Hutchings was the first UK dealer to buy the Automaster package for its Vauxhall, Chevrolet and Nissan dealerships. It began a trial with the DMS in December.
Automaster is a Windows-based modular system which is fully integrated with Sage 500 accounting and business management software.
KBA has been a partner with Sage for more than a decade. Its scaleable capability allows it to support both small dealers and large multi-franchise operations with hundreds of users.
