Kia has expanded their mid-sized MPV line-up with the introduction of the Carens 2.0 petrol GS, priced at £9,995.

The four cylinder DOHC 16 valve 2.0 petrol engine features continuously variable valve timing (CVVT) generating 136bhp and delivers a combined fuel consumption of 34.9 mpg.

The Carens GS standard specification includes, air conditioning, front and rear electric windows, heated door mirrors, body coloured bumpers and door handles, a rear load cover, roof rails and Michelin tyres.

Safety specification includes ABS with EBD and remote central door locking.

Kia has published its latest price list after the £5 increase in Vehicle Excise Duty (VED). Kia has maintained the existing price positioning of all affected models, with the exception of the Sorento diesel automatics which have increased by £100.

The on-the-road price of the Cerato 1.6 GS has been reduced to £8,995 and the Sedona 2.5 V6 L entry pricing has been reduced to £13,995.
