Volkswagen has teamed up with Nokia Automotive to become the first car company to offer their customers a factory-fitted automotive communication device.

The company will be offering a premium handset from Nokia Automotive with the new Volkswagen Passat.

The product is aimed at providing new Passat owners the benefits of a car phone with external GSM antenna. It also comes with hands-free mode. The new device will be launched in the summer.
