East of England retail group Desira has collected a regional award from Fiat for its aftersales business.

The service department at its Norwich outlet for the Italian carmaker came top in the Eastern region.

Fiat’s six other regional winners are: Arnold Clark Dundee, Gainmanor in Wallsend, Caledonia Preston, Platts in Stoke-on-Trent and BV Rees in Cardigan. The national winner will be announced later this month.

Desira service manager Austin Seales says: “This award is a real accolade to my staff and their commitment to excellence and service.”

Entrants were scored in four categories, including a team evaluation, mystery shop, site evaluation and product knowledge test. Desira has nine sites in East Anglia and London.
