SsangYong has begun giving its dealers specialist off-road training to help boost sales of the Rexton 4x4.
Courses were arranged at nine rough terrain sites across the UK, with sales staff and dealer principals invited to test the Rexton 270, which has dual range gears, high articulation suspension and electronic traction control.
SYUK managing director Bob Barris says more events will be held for staff and customers as the SsangYong dealer network increases.
“Many customers have bought Rexton because of its good looks and high equipment levels but many buyers also want a vehicle which is a highly capable off-roader. We need to be able to demonstrate Rexton’s performance as a serious cross-country vehicle,” he says.
