Honda is expecting to achieve record European car sales during 2005, with a forecast of 285,000 units sold.
This would be an 11% increase on the previous year. The Japanese manufacturer said the Jazz model had been a key driver for sales and expects a total of 80,000 units to be sold by the end of the year.
Honda has targeted a record year in 2006 and plans to sell 310,000 vehicles, which would represent a further 9% increase on this year’s total.
