More than 40 firefighters have been tackling a fire at a tyre recycling company in Sheffield.

The Credential Tyre Recycling plant, in the east of the city, has been ablaze since this morning, but local residents have not been evacuated.

Credential Tyre Recycling was a partner in a Used Tyre Distillation Research trial last year to break down tyres into their oil, carbon and steel components for recycling.
