The six apprentices (Arran Betts from Graypaul Nottingham, Daniel Dawson from JCT600 Leeds, Rhys Phillips from Dick Lovett Cardiff, Rae Gami and Michael O’Dea from HR Owen London and Jason Griggs from Lancaster Colchester) outside the headquarters of Ferrari GB Ltd in Slough.
The Ferrari Modern Apprenticeship Programme was created in 2004 to produce fully qualified technicians with specialist product knowledge for the franchised dealer network. The first six apprentices started their training last year.
Now in their second year of training, they are being followed by a further six candidates from across the country. By the end of their apprenticeship they will gain a recognised IMI qualification and factory-backed training.
The six trainees are employed by official Ferrari dealers and follow a programme of on-the-job and classroom training delivered by ReMIT, the training provider for the retail motor industry.
