Autologic Holdings, the car delivery and logistics group, has unveiled a drop in pre-tax profits on the back of the weak French car market.

Over a quarter of group sales come from France where losses widened from £900,000 to £2.5m.

Turnover for the six months to June 30 fell from £358.6m to £347.9m. Pre-tax profits slid from £8.6m to £5.2m.
