Less than a year after launching the Crossfire coupe, Chrysler is bringing an open-top Crossfire roadster to the UK.

The new convertible has a 3.2 litre V6 engine, a powered fabric roof and super-stiff bodyshell, prices are from £27,995.

The Roadster shares the Coupe's rear view with a tapered, “boat tail” appearance designed to emphasis the car's 19” rear wheels, plus is fitted with a retractable spoiler that activates when the car reaches 60mph.

The new 2005 Crossfire Roadster features a 3.2-litre 90-degree V6, 18 valve SOHC engine, and reaches a top speed of 150mph and 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds. The Roadster is available with a six speed manual gearbox for £27,995 or a five speed automatic transmission for £29,235. ESP, cruise control, leather upholstery and air conditioning all come as standard.
