The Rexton SUV from Korean car company SsangYong – heralds the return of the brand since it disappeared from the UK market on the failure of the former Daewoo importer, which had re-badged Ssanyong's Musso model.

The Rexton is a five door SUV styled by Ital which can seat up to seven people, and has an electronic selectable 4WD system (full-time only on petrol model). Its two engine choices are a 2.9 litre, 118 bhp turbo diesel or 3.2 litre, 217 bhp petrol engine.

UK prices will start from £18,800 on the road. The first shipment of vehicles has arrived and will be on sale at Ssangyong UK's 30 newly-appointed UK dealerships by the end of September.
