The Daihatsu Terios small sport-utility is to be built in China in co-operation with FAW Huali, part of the China First Automotive Works Corporation.

FAW Huali is a longstanding part of Daihatsu in the China market – until recently producing the HiJet van.

Production of the Terios 1.3-litre will begin this August or September in Tianjin, northern China, with a sales target of 10,000 units per year.
