The European Garage Equipment Association (EGEA) is to hold a meeting at the Automotive Trade Show section of the 2004 Commercial Vehicle Show at Birmingham's NEC.

Previous EGEA gatherings have taken place at Automechanika and EquipAuto but this will be the first European aftermarket show where both car and truck equipment will be on display. Said Nevelle Marchant, president of Britain's Garage Equipment Association said, "This will be the largest assembly of garage equipment seen in the UK for many a year and it is great to see so many international companies taking part."

The Automotive Trade Show @ the Commercial Vehicle Show, owned by the Commercial Vehicle Show Partnership and organised by SMMT, opens on March 23 2004 at the NEC Birmingham.

- Nearly 50 new exhibitors have booked space at the 2004 CV Show, among over 400 stand spaces booked.
