Bosch has become an IMI approved assessment centre, with its training programmes accredited under the IMI's Quality Assured Awards (QAA) programme.

Under the new agreement, technicians completing Bosch Service Technician and Diesel Service Technician training courses can use their qualifications as direct entry into membership of the IMI at Licentiate grade (LIMI). Completing the Bosch Systems Technician or Diesel Systems Technician course qualifies technicians for Associate membership (AMIMI). This qualification entitles the holder to receive the additional status of Certificated Automotive Engineer (CAE) from the IMI.
