The 73rd Geneva International Motor Show on 6-16 March 2004 will occupy 76,000m2 of exhibition space, including a new hall. Individual stands will be bigger than those at the 2002 show.

Around 150 world and European launches expected from 2004 Geneva exhibitors include Mitsubishi with CZ2 cabrio concept and a new Outlander compact SUV, GM with Saab's new 9-3 cabrio and Opel/Vauxhall's Vectra GTS and GTC concept. Kia is to launch a range-topping executive model, the Opirus.

SEAT will present a new Ibiza Cupra R, Mazda its MX Sport compact sports concept, and Fiat Auto will put its new Idea and Panda on show. European debuts will include a new Daewoo Nubira and the Evanda, which will succeed the discontinued Leganza at the top of the brand's car range. Nissan's 350Z coupe will be alongside a compact concept car named Evalia.
