A new business package has been launched by the Factoring Services Group to help independent garages boost profits.

The Autocare Complete scheme is offered to FSG's trade membership and is incorporates branding, computer software training, marketing, point of sale products and tools and equipment.

With the independent garage sector declining at rate of five per cent a year, FSG says is vital repairers get the tools and resources they need to offer a professional service.

“By joining AutoCare, garages will have access to some of the keenest pricing deals around, keeping them ahead of the competition,” says Andrew Dickinson, FSG trading group manager.

First to be dressed up in the new AutoCare livery was independent garage Silver Seal in Kidderminster. “Small garages need as much help from their suppliers as possible,” says Silver Seal owner Andrew Flello. “The way the motor trade is going, we would struggle to keep up with the latest technology, training and services. AutoCare gives us the support we have been looking for.”
