BASF-owned R-M Automotive Refinish - Enfield-based for more than a decade - is moving to new corporate headquarters at Didcot in south Oxfordshire.

The move will put the company under the same roof as sister BASF Coatings business Glasurit.

R-M's entire operation - call centre, technical, colour and e-commerce support divisions - are uprooting from Greater London.

“We'll benefit from closer links with BASF and its extensive resources,” says an R-M spokesman. “R-M will be encouraged to continue its work developing innovative solutions for the automotive refinish industry.”

He declines to say whether any redundancies are expected but adds: “R-M wants to keep the team together.”
