Profile Glass, the automotive glass supplier, has launched a new web-based supply arm - Glass Auto.

By logging on to glassauto.co.uk fitters can order windscreens, backlights and accessories. The service aims to provide a next-day delivery service and supplies a range of adhesive tapes and ancillary products for the independent fitters.

According to Roger Parker, chief executive, the glass replacement industry is crying out for an efficient supply facility that can handle and deliver different types of glass parts.

“We're convinced this new style of product sourcing will be a blueprint for many other material supply companies,” he says.
