Professional vehicle workshops of the near future will have a state of the art parts cleaner similar to a new system developed by Rozone, a Midlands-based engine management specialist predicts. Tony Starmer, who runs Auto Diagnostics in Loughborough and who has 46 years' trade experience, first saw Rozone's SmartWasher at the European Automotive Trade Show.
After trails he's convinced the kit is an industry winner. “It's the most advanced parts cleaner I've come across,” says Starmer. “I believe all garages and workshops will have to move this way with new technology - or get left behind.”
He says SmartWasher - effectively a programmable parts bath with a replacable filter - brings manifolds back to new condition, copes with carburettors and is effective on aluminium coated in semi-synthetic and synthetic diesel engine oils.
