The seasonal warning to drivers not to leave their Christmas purchases visible in their vehicles has come from the RMI. The solution is simple, the Federation is telling the public – lock valuables in the boot out of sight.
RMI chief exec Matthew Carrington says: “Car security is as much of an issue over the Christmas as it is at any other time of year, but as we all go through the rigmarole of Christmas shopping, it becomes very easy to forget about the threat posed by thieves.”
