Aylesbury-based Europa Safety Products has achieved EN149 2001 compliance for its ESP ranges of disposable respiratory products.

The ESP ranges, Respair, Odorair and Weldair, have also been enhanced to proved lower breathing resistance and added user comfort. This was achieved by changes to the fabric “mix” in the masks as a result of a new research programme.

The company has also added a new 100-pack wall-mounting dispenser for customers requiring bulk supplies. When placed near workstations this can help users follow the safety requirement of “single use” change of respirators, says the company.

The ESP catalogue now includes not only the Respair disposable respirator ranges but also half-mask, full-face masks and canisters, powered systems (specialist welding and shotblasting applications) and also compressed air and airfed systems.
