Seat has appointed Rawdon Glover as its new head of operations with responsibility for vehicle sales and development of the dealer network.
He joins the Volkswagen Group-owned Spanish car marque after four years as head of marketing for Audi UK, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and definition of the German premium brand in Britain.
Former operations manager Gary Savage will now take up Glover's previous position at Audi UK.
Glover joins Seat at a record-breaking time, with year to date sales up nine per cent - 1543 units - on 2001, and with a raft of new and revised products lined up for launch over the next three years.
A business studies graduate, Glover's CV includes senior marketing positions with the Disney Corporation and, more recently, with the Camelot Group before joining Audi in April, 1999.
