Further management changes have been announced by Proton Cars (UK) to strengthen the Malaysian car importer's sales and dealer network development.

Simon Park is promoted to customer acquisition general manager, where he will have overall control of vehicle sales. He will retain the responsibility of his previous position as head of network planning and remains director of Proton Direct, the importer-owned sales outlet at Avonmouth and of Proton's customer referral programme.

Simon Fisher has been made network planning manager, promoted from dealer development manager, and takes over responsibility from Mr Park for dealer recruitment and development.
