Fiat Auto has entered a partnership with DHL Worldwide Express and Deutsche Postbank Worldnet,to enhance its spare parts logistics operation.

Roberto Testore, Fiat Auto chief executive officer, said: “At Fiat, our driving force is a total commitment to delivering the best possible service to our dealership network. This co-operation gives Fiat access to advanced logistics network solutions and accelerates its supply-chain re-engineering to improve asset turnover and to reduce logistic cost.”

Fiat Auto takes 19% ownership in the new venture, DHL 19% and Deutsche Post Worldnet 29,1%, with 32% taken by other financial investors.
