Philip Parke has been appointed marketing manager of Ford's customer service division, with responsibility for marketing Ford Britain's range of aftermarket operations, including vehicle servicing and repair, parts, accessories and the award-winning fast-fit network, Ford Rapid Fit.

Mr Parke, who takes up the post with immediate effect, joined Ford in 1970.

Having begun his career in Ford Rally Sport, he moved to the Ford customer service division, where he has held a variety of management roles in service marketing, dealer operations, dealership systems and technical publications. His most recent post was repair product marketing manager, based in Cologne.
