Britain's fourth largest motor retailer has opened a £1.8 million Toyota dealership – the first in the country to use the Japanese car maker's 'new retail concept'.

CD Bramall Northampton, in the city's Riverside Park estate, includes children's areas with videos and computer games, and customer seating sections with internet access and information displays.

Newly appointed dealership director is Stephen Palmer, who has joined from a Luton Vauxhall franchise. 'We're looking forward to a bright future here,' he said. 'Toyota is a dynamic marque and shares CD Bramall's commitment to customer service.'
