Mitsubishi Motors UK has opened a new dealership, Humming Bird Mitsubishi in St Albans.

Together with the town this new appointment will serve Hemel Hempstead, Hatfield and Harpenden.

Director Roger Hurst said: “Having initially brought Mitsubishi into the town 23 years ago, we are delighted to be re-established as the official dealer. Together with our after sales capability, we are now able to offer our customers a service which is second to none.”

The company's St Albans site is one of three Mitsubishi dealerships owned by the Humming Bird Motors Group, the others being in Finchley and Colindale.

The opening of Humming Bird in St Albans brings the number of Mitsubishi dealers in Britain up to 125. The company plans to establish a total of 150 sites nationwide by the end of next year.
