Dealer confidence in the used car market has slumped, according to the latest Cap Index, despite sales for the first quarter up nearly 1% on last year.
Their concerns have sparked a rush for tickets to Automotive Management's spring conference – Used cars: the future, with more than 150 delegates reserving places. The conference will be held at the Birmingham International Convention Centre on Thursday, May 24. The 2001 AM100 will be revealed at a dinner that evening.
International Car Distribution Programme director John Kiff will chair the event. Other speakers are Mark Cowling (Cap Network), Gerard Murray (Reg Vardy), John Brewer (MSN Carview), Adrian Rushmore (Glass's) and Martin Hall (Finance and Leasing Association).
