Mitsubishi Motors and Skoda have expanded their dealer networks. Mitsubishi has appointed six new dealers this year, all operational in time for the March plate change and helping to achieve the company's goal of appointing 20 new dealers by the end of the year.

The appointments are Horners Mitsubishi in Manchester, Perrys Mitsubishi in Rotherham, Bromley Mitsubishi in Beckenham, Bridge Street Mitsubishi in Sunderland, Holdcroft Mitsubishi in Stoke-on-Trent and Fownhope Mitsubishi in Hereford. They bring the Mitsubishi network to 126, its highest ever total.

Peter Griffiths, network development general manager, said: “I'm confident we will exceed the 20 new dealer objective.”

Skoda has also expanded its network with the opening of Wryman's Skoda in Salisbury which opened on March 1 in a purpose-built site in Southampton Road.

Retailer principal Martin Gurren said: “We are opening in Salisbury because we have been very successful with our Skoda operation on the Channel Islands and wanted to roll out the Wryman's brand in the UK. We will hold a launch weekend in April.”
