Vauxhall Motors marketing director Dean Barrett will be a speaker at Used cars: the future, the Automotive Management spring conference.
Mr Barrett will provide an insight into how leading carmakers see the sector developing this year and further in the future.
Vauxhall's Network Q, launched more than 10 years ago, has given its dealers an effective all-makes used cars sales operation.
The conference will be staged at Birmingham's International Convention Centre on Thursday, May 24. The AM100 dinner will be held on the evening of the same day, also at the ICC.
John Kiff, a director of the International Car Distribution Programme, will chair the conference. Gerard Murray, who becomes chief executive of Reg Vardy plc in May, will give a retailer's perspective of used car sales.
John Brewer, MSN CarView managing director, will provide a view of the market as seen by online specialist newcomers.
Martin Hall, Finance and Leasing Association, will explain how last year's slump in residual values affected the car finance market.
There will be a detailed insight in to residuals and other used car trends from two of the industry's foremost experts. They are Mark Cowling (Cap Network chief European economist) and Adrian Rushmore (Glass's chief car editor).
