Zurich is to offer compensation to repairers changing their estimating system from Motex to Glassmatix, according to a bulletin report.

For repairers under contract who continue to pay monthly fees to Motex, Zurich will pay £5 for each estimate submitted after the change to Glassmatix until the end of July.

Meanwhile, Zurich has appointed former Cornhill Insurance and Audatex manager Colin Townsend as head of its motor engineering division. (December 13, 2001)
