Fiat Auto (UK) has appointed two new directors to its aftersales and parts operations. Ken Miller has assumed the role of aftersales director and John Malamatenios has taken the position of parts and accessories director. Both are new positions at the company.

Miller said: “During 2001 we will be actively working to increase our share of service and repair to both Fiat and Alfa Romeo vehicle parcs. In recent years the potential has grown impressively and our dealers are in an excellent position to capitalise by virtue of their investment and expertise.”

And explaining the decision behind his appointment, Malamatenios said: "Now, more than ever, the value of Fiat and Alfa Romeo genuine parts is truly appreciated by customers, dealers and independent workshops alike. "We will continue in 2001 with activities to build on customer loyalty, improve our service to dealers and enhance the appeal of our products to customers with older vehicles."
