Prestige motor retailer Sytner has increased its ties with Jaguar with the acquisition of Clive Sutton (Racing Green) Limited in North London and the opening of new Jaguar dealerships in Barnes, South-west London and Stratford-Upon-Avon.

The Clive Sutton territory includes Highgate and Hendon, an area with one of the second largest Jaguar sales' potentials in the country, according to Sytner.

The addition of Clive Sutton and the opening of the two new outlets takes to seven the number of Jaguar dealerships in the UK and positions Sytner as the UK's second largest Jaguar dealer.

Laurence Vaughan, Sytner chief executive, said: "The pace of consolidation in the industry is picking up significantly. "These transactions confirm our position as the leading prestige retailer.
