Universal Salvage is producing a guide for insurers and vehicle salvage specialists as a basis of quality assurance for parts re-entering the market.

The publication is likely to work in a similar way to its vehicle categorisation guide, used by members of the 'universal select' list of approved dismantlers. This guide divides damaged vehicles into four distinct bands according to the extent of the damage.
