Automotive e-commerce solutions company Q.bit has teamed up with BT Cellnet to offer dealers access to the latest mobile phone technology early next year.

The partnership will exploit the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) network, which allows data to be sent at a faster rate than Wap.

Dealers can connect to the business and access website data, integrating trading and retail opportunities with their dealer-based systems from their mobile phone.
