Job Title - Senior Customer Account Manager

Salary - £30,000 Per Annum

Hours - Days

Location - Poole

I am currently working with a Fleet leasing company in the Poole area who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a Senior Customer Account Manager.

Requirements for Senior Customer Account Manager:

  • Solid experience in business-to-business environments
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and account management systems
  • Understanding of using Sales Performance metrics as well as using our IT systems including Pro Hire and salesforce
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong admin, IT, organisational and negotiation skills, and a can-do attitude
  • Sound understanding of the vehicle rental industry and vehicle terminology, including vehicle accessories etc.
  • Ability to multitask and be able to prioritise and plan your workload around customer's requirements
  • Willing to travel within the UK to attend customer meetings with potential overnight stays.
  • A full and clean driving licence

Senior Customer Account Manager job role:

Knowledge of Rental / vehicle hire within fleet management industry is strongly preferable.

  • Engaging with customers to discuss vehicle requirements along with day-to-day account enquires, clarifying information and offering solutions or alternatives by engaging with key internal stakeholders
  • Be responsible for the development and growth of allocated accounts
  • Manage inbound and outbound communications in a timely and professional manner through emails, calls, portals, and web-based platforms
  • Identify any gaps within our processes and be open to suggest resolutions
  • Work collaboratively across all departments in order to resolve all customers issues, as well as communicating thoroughly with the Sales, Rental and Finance departments
  • Liaise with the business development managers to discuss the customers bespoke requirements
  • Create customers proposals and presentations and rate documents when required, as well as producing and presenting reports to customers
  • Assist in preparation of tenders and proposals
  • Carry out monthly pre bill reports for customers to always ensure billing accuracy
  • Keep up to date with relevant changes within the business including our fleet mix to ensure accurate information is given to customers
