Holden Volvo Kings Lynn has officially opened the doors to its brand new car dealership, completing the relocation from its Downham Road premises, which had traded in the town for years under Hylton Gott.
The new showroom, a £3.5 million investment for Holden, brings Volvo’s Scandinavian design ethos to life, featuring a relaxed lounge space furnished with premium materials, plus free Wi-Fi and dedicated working areas for those waiting during vehicle servicing.
In line with Volvo's showroom standards, a standout feature is a large interior viewing window into the workshop area, allowing customers to watch the service process unfold from the showroom – enhancing transparency and trust.
“We’ve worked hard to create an environment where customers feel welcome, comfortable and in control,” said Jeremy Trett, general manager at Holden Volvo.
“This is a major investment for the group and underlines our commitment to both customer care and the future of electrification.”
In line with Volvo’s target for 90-100% electrified sales globally by 2030, the Kings Lynn site includes dedicated EV charging infrastructure for both plug-in hybrids and fully electric models.
The retailer showcases the full Volvo electric line-up, including the multi-award-winning EX30, pure electric XC40, and a range of plug-in hybrids. The showroom also stocks a broad selection of Volvo Selekt Approved Used vehicles.
“This site represents the future of the franchise experience – from electrification and digitalisation to transparency in the workshop,” added Trett. “We’re thrilled to be welcoming both new and returning customers into our new home.”
Holden Group acquired its third Volvo dealership in 2023, the former Cecil & Larter Volvo business at Bury St Edmunds. That business now trades under the Holden brand.
