Car valeting specialist Motorclean has branched out into Scotland, adding 11 sites in the first quarter of 2015.

These include eight Vertu Motors, two Robins & Day and Arnold Clark outlets. The valeting firm has also opened a regional office in Sheffield to support its drive north following a period of growth for the business.

Motorclean recently won contracts to supply valeting and vehicle imaging services at eight Brindleys sites in the West Midlands and also valeting and facilities management services for three new Group 1 Automotive BMW sites.

Steve McBrierty, Motorclean chief executive, said: “Our move came after carefully laying the groundwork in terms of vital support infrastructure such as our regional office, all against a backdrop of really strong performance that gave us the confidence to invest.

“Scotland is a key geographic area for growth and we expect a strong demand for our full array of business services, thanks to our strong reputation from almost 40 years in the trade and an overall trend to outsource services.”
