Lightcliffe Halifax Volkswagen, part of CJ Automotive Fleet Services, has won Volkswagen Fleet Retailer of the Year 2014.

The scorecard measures a wide range of KPIs so offers an all-round perspective of the Fleet department.

Fleet director at CJ Automotive Andrea Hodgson said: “2014 was a year of restructure and growth for CJ Automotive Fleet Services (part of Lightcliffe Volkswagen, Lightcliffe Skoda, Lightcliffe SEAT, North Wales Audi, North Wales Volkswagen, Volkswagen Van Centre North Wales and Green Bower BMW and MINI).

“In January we restructured our department to concentrate on three areas; leasing, local business development and group sales.

“This restructure and staffing increase has helped move the fleet side of our businesses forward and with the support of our customers we have significantly increased volume across all our brands and to win the Volkswagen Fleet Retailer for 2014 is the icing on the cake.

“I feel we are a little fish in a big pond but with a big bite – we punch above our weight when you look at our size based on number of dealers compared to the fleet volume we have. Our size mean that we are nimble and are empowered to make quick decisions, this gives a big advantage over our competitors.”
