The Manheim-owned Motors website has been upgraded using the latest technology to make it ‘fully responsive’ and ‘significantly quicker for the end user’.
Enhanced listings functionality, an intuitive search capability and additional visual content all went live yesterday (Thursday 29 August 2013).
The car detail pages have been fine-tuned using Autonomy’s multi-variant testing tools.
Alongside the traditional make, model, mileage and colour searches, users can now group potential purchases by lowest road tax, group 1 insurance and average MPG.
Customers can also browse solely within a particular advertiser’s stock and commercial vehicles can now be searched for by body style.
Andy Coulthurst, managing director at Motors, said: “We are very excited about our new site. It has been created using cutting-edge technology, including HTML5 and CSS3.
“With visits from non-desktop devices now contributing more than 35% of total visits, we are delighted that the new site displays our dealer’s stock perfectly to millions of monthly users.”

i have just canceled with Motors as the footfall (phone calls) went from 3 a month to zero! after contacting them to cancel, they confirmed they had fallen off the first page of most search engines, and offered me a discount for the following 3 months along with contacting me to look at what we could do to enhance coverage moving forward! No contact, no calls were forth coming! suggest they keep there promises and look after there current clientel if they want there fancy new site to work!?
