Infiniti has announced a new head of marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Dublin-born Orna Conway takes over at an important time for the brand, with the countdown under way to the September launch of the all-new Infiniti Q50 mid-size premium sedan, and with Infiniti Red Bull Racing setting the pace in the 2013 Formula One title race.
As marketing general manager, Conwaywill be responsible for leading all marketing activity for the region, reporting to Fintan Knight, vice president of Infiniti EMEA, in Rolle, Switzerland.
"This is an important year for Infiniti in lots of ways," said Knight. "Having Orna join the team is a further boost for the business as we continue to build the Infiniti brand."
Conway joins Infiniti from Audi Ireland where most recently she has been general manager product and marketing. Prior to this Orna held diverse marketing roles across the financial services, retail and FMCG sectors where she specialised in building brand recognition.
"To join Infiniti at this stage when the brand has so much potential is exciting and challenging in equal measure," said Orna Conway. "Infiniti to me is an ultra-modern luxury brand with a passion to succeed to which I am delighted to contribute."

Good luck with the UK, Orna but, Infiniti is not Audi. Just 12 registrations in June, with additional dealers recently appointed - 57% down on 2012 in a market up 14%. Registrations (including demo's) 20% down year to date in a market 10% up. It tells its own story and confirms that Infiniti and its retailers need bottomless pockets right now! And whatever happened to the UK fleet manager appointed earlier in the year?
