Claims management company Vamco says it has become the first in its sector to operate its own in-house law firm.

This is due to an Alternative Business Structure (ABS) licence being granted by The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) to Kingsley Law Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Surrey-based Vamco.

Vamco managing director Tony Rand (pictured) says the move will enable him to offer an integrated outsourcing service covering every aspect of a motoring insurance claim.

“Our new model marks a major leap forward for the motor repair industry, providing a faster and more cost effective claims service,” he said.

“However a major education job has to be done to alert motorists that there is an alternative to first reporting a claim with their insurance company.

“Our accident management skills are a perfect fit with the litigation expertise of Kingsley Law Ltd and we believe we are the UK's first outsourced claims business to offer such a comprehensive service.”
