Škoda has announced prices and specifications for the new Rapid Spaceback ahead of its arrival in the UK in January.

It will be available in three ‘generously-appointed’ trim levels: S, SE and Elegance.

Prices start from £14,340 OTR for the 1.2 TSI 86PS. The 1.4 TSI 122PS DSG is £17,980. While the top of the range 1.6 TDI CR 90PS DSG is £18,900.

The second model in the Rapid range, Škoda says the Spaceback brings ‘a dynamic new dimension’. 

Setting sector standards for rear legroom and headroom, and boasting a 415-litre boot, the Rapid Spaceback comes with an array of personalisation options, including a large panoramic glass roof and extended tailgate glass.

In terms of engines, there are three petrol and two diesel units, with power outputs ranging from 86PS to 122PS.

The line-up will also include a GreenLine version with CO2 emissions of just 99g/km.
