It's a display of how far some independent garage owners will go to keep their customers happy.

The Bucks Free Press is reporting how a local garage owner left a long-standing customer stunned when, rather than disappoint him because no courtesy cars were left, he loaned him his own classic Ferrari.

James Hartley dropped his 10-year-old BMW M3 into the AJ Dunlop garage at Beaconsfield to get the brakes tested.

Owner Alex Dunlop rewarded his trusted and loyal customer by lending him the keys to his own £40,000 Ferrari 348TB.

Now the story has been picked up by The Sun newspaper, which is read by 7.5 million people - how's that for free publicity.
