A company which supplies car parts to three carmakers will not make as many redundancies as first thought.
In December Stadco, in Llanfyllin, Powys said it would have to shed 106 workers due to the recession, reports the BBC website.
However the company, which supplies parts to Land Rover, BMW and Peugeot has found more work which means about a quarter of the 106 facing redundancy will not lose their jobs.
Stadco is part of the Acertec car components firm and has other plants in Castle Bromwich in Birmingham, Coventry, Shrewsbury and Saarlouis, Germany.
