Noble will now go through to the national finals to be held in November.
Edge is an independent foundation dedicated to raising the status of vocational and practical learning and the awards recognise organisations that provide learning opportunities for 14-25 year-olds.
This year Edge is awarding £300,000 to employers that provide quality apprenticeships, excellent work placements and other practical learning opportunities.
Andy Powell, CEO at Edge, said: “Edge is delighted to award this prize to Simon Noble. He has worked incredibly hard and has achieved so much. Simon has really shown that hands-on learning is good for employees and employers alike.
"This is also a great example of how employers like Simon Bailes Peugeot can develop highly skilled and motivated staff that will gain great personal benefits from their training and can then deliver exceptional levels of customer service.”
Nobel will be invited to awards ceremony held in London on November 22 to discover whether he has become a national winner.
