Bodyshops will be looking forward to higher volumes of repairs with the clocks going back this weekend and the onset of winter.

A report today from the AA's business services division claims that more road accidents take place in November than any other month of the year.

According to data from Swinton Insurance, accident claims rose 30% in November last year compared with April, the month after the clocks are put forward and statistically the safest month to be on the road.
