Maserati will put its new MC12 Corsa (not related to Vauxhall) into production for a select number of clients.

It is not being developed for road use and will only be driven during private test sessions or exhibition activities organised by Maserati.

The Maserati MC12 Corsa is priced at €1 million plus tax (£685,851) and goes on sale in autumn 2007.

Total production of the Maserati MC12 Corsa will not exceed 12 units worldwide. It is fitted with a 755bhp 6.0-litre V12 engine.
