Suzuki is launching a new model line-up due to the expansion of its European manufacturing facility.
A doubling of capacity from 100,000 to 200,000 units at its Hungarian plant means Swift and Ignis production is now fully on target, allowing Suzuki GB both to reintroduce the Ignis 1.3 GL five-door with an enhanced specification and launch the three door derivative of the all-new Swift.
Wagon R+ production has been switched to the Gliwice plant in Poland and the opportunity taken to provide it with a 1.2 litre engine.
The Ignis 1.3 GL five door is priced at £7,499 – £500 less than the original on-the-road price.
