GP Automotive, a UK warehouse distributor, is celebrating 30 years of trading in the UK independent aftermarket in 2005 and plans to add more brands and products to its range in the forthcoming year.

GP Automotive’s existing portfolio of brands – designed to act as an all-encompassing supply base for customers – include: Add-It, Auto Delta, Boge, Brembo, Cifam, Cyclo, Denso, Fister, Gates, Motul, Purolator, Rain Dance, Renu, Sachs, Splitfire, SKF and Trico.

Graham Trevitt, GP Automotive managing director, believes it is this mix of brands, coupled with the GP distribution set-up, that sets the company apart from the crowd: “In the 30 years we have traded, there have been highs and lows but we have always communicated well with our customers and suppliers and their overwhelming support has been key to us reaching this milestone.”

In 2005, GP Automotive is planning to increase the investment in its Auto Delta brand, which has already seen a massive range expansion and extensive updating of catalogues.

As customers look to deal with fewer suppliers, GP Automotive is also promising new brands and more products, complementing the attractive proposition the company currently offers. “We have established ourselves as a key distribution partner for a number of brands and, with this expertise, are looking to expand in 2005 – both though GP and also our performance products division Triple P,” says Trevitt.
